Author Jamie Ford recently posted about an interview he had with a college student in Norway who was using his first book Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet as his undergraduate thesis.
Jamie stated:
"A book is like a stone dropped into a pond.
You never know how far the ripples will go."
EXACTLY!
I am so glad that I took the leap to write- and if you're on the fence, this is your sign to do it!
Write that book. YOUR book.
The process of creating is tough, exhilarating, and terrifying - all that the same time.
Go for it.
You never know how far the ripples will go - figuratively and literally.
My first book One Green Thing: Discover Your Hidden Power to Help Save the Planet has taken me to Warner Music Group in Times Square for Climate Week to Silicon Valley for Silicon Valley Reads and soon - to London in March for the World Happiness Summit!
If you have an idea -fiction or non-fiction -that's in your mind, then make space to write it.
The self-discovery itself is worth it.
